John Ryall has been to meet visually impaired Paralympian swimmer Darren Leach, and sculptor Louise Giblin. The artwork was created to celebrate Darren's career and to promote the message that disability doesn't have to be a barrier to sporting achievement.
Darren Leach, Paralympic and international gold medallist in vision impaired (VI) swimming, has received a body cast sculpture, created by sculptor Louise Giblin, as part of her Olympic Series.
Louise has sculpted body casts of a range of British Olympians, including Beth Tweddle who received her gold coloured sculpture in Liverpool last week.
