Wales fall below Italy in world rankings

Wales have slipped below Italy to 10th in the latest IRB world rankings, published today.

Defeat to Ireland on Saturday was their eight on the bounce since winning the Grand Slam last spring.

Italy's famous win over France - who Wales face next - boosts them ahead of Rob Howley's side.

Scotland are now the only Six Nations side below Wales in the rankings.
