Norwich City have agreed a fee to sign Sporting Lisbon left-back Marvin Zeegelaar according to reports in Portugal.

Portuguese newspaper A BOLA say that the two clubs have settled on an initial €3.5m deal (£2.9m), which could rise by a further €1.5m.

The report also claims the 26-year-old will travel to England today to undergo a medical.

Norwich are on the lookout for a new left-back after selling Martin Olsson to Swansea City earlier this month.

Dutchman Zeegelaar recently received his first call-up to the senior Netherlands international squad.

French giants Marseille have also been linked with a move for the former Ajax academy product.
