Four people have been arrested during protests between the Scottish Defence League and the Trade Union Council in Dumfries.
The SDL said it was demonstrating against plans to expand the use of a local mosque. Trade Union members and the group Unite Against Fascism held a counter protests against the SDL.
Police said any arrests were made for minor public order offences.
