A woman died and a young boy was injured when a car collided with spectators during a rally. Joy Robson, 50, from the Isle of Skye, was killed in the incident at the Highland Car Club Snowman Rally yesterday.

Inspector Neil Lumsden, head of road policing at Northern Constabulary, said: "As a result of the collision, a participating car has left the forestry track it was travelling on and collided with a group of spectators."
