Firefighters tackle Bangladesh garment factory blaze

Firefighters are tackling a blaze at a garment factory in Bangladesh which is believed to have claimed the lives of nine people and injured many more.

The cause of the fire, which is understood to have started in the knitting section of Aswad Composite Mills factory is unknown.

UK brands linked to factory fire

The deputy manager of the factory where nine garment workers were killed last night has told ITV News that six British high street brands used Aswad Composite Mills. They are: Next, Primark, George, Gap, H&M, and Morrisons.
