Ajax left-back Mitchell Dijks has turned down a move to Norwich City, according to various reports in the Netherlands.
The two clubs had agreed a €4 million fee (£3.4m) for the 23-year-old and he flew to England yesterday for talks.
However, the 6'4" Dutchman now appears to have decided to stay in his homeland - despite being impressed by Norwich manager Alex Neil.
"The trainer (Alex Neil) had a good story, but ultimately Mitchell still has not decided to opt for Norwich City," Dijks' agent told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.
"The feeling should be 100% and it was not. A club like Norwich doesn't deserve 90%."
Norwich are still believed to be trying to wrap up a deal for fellow Dutch full-back Marvin Zeegelaar from Sporting Lisbon.
