The last piece of track is being put in place today to connect the Swanage steam railway in Dorset to the mainline for the first time in 40 years.

Steam power back in Swanage

It took seven weeks to rip up and thirty years to put it back.

But trains have been running over the line again at the Swanage Railway in Dorset.

It means passengers can travel all the way from Wareham to the main line.
