87 puppies seized in dog trafficking probe

Police in Greater Manchester have put 87 puppies in the care of the RSPCA during a major investigation into puppy trafficking and the alleged sale of sick dogs via internet ads.

Officers found four dead puppies during the raids across Stockport and Greater Manchester and a spokesman for the force described witnessing "some shocking scenes".
