Un-ewe-sual flock catching eyes of North Yorkshire village

Residents in Grewelthorpe near Ripon have placed a trail of sheep in fancy dress through the picturesque main street to raise money for the village hall. One is modelled on tennis player John McEnroe.

An 'un-ewe-sual' flock of new residents are catching people's eye in a North Yorkshire village.

A trail of sheep in fancy dress have gone on show in Grewelthorpe near Ripon. They've been decorated in a variety of styles and include sheep modelled on the tennis player John McEnroe and swimmer Duncan Goodhew.

Residents hope the trail will help raise money towards the village hall. Entries will be judged over the Jubilee bank holiday.
