Property owner: Baroness Warsi 'has not made any payment to me'

The owner of a property used by Baroness Warsi says that he did not receive any rent payments from the Conservative chairman.

Dr Wafik Moustafa, a GP from Acton, west London, says Baroness Warsi's claims that she made appropriate payments to him are "untrue."

"It's simply lying," he said. "She has not made any payment to me."

He says he had never asked for payments in return for lodgings.

"At the end of the day professional integrity and integrity in a public position is very important, and there are questions for her to answer.

"It's about transparency and integrity of the political system."
