87-year-old sets three world records for cycling

John Lee from Luton in Bedfordshire is 87 and has been cycling for 65 years.

He now claims three world records in his age group. The records, usually set at indoor velodromes, are for the distance covered in one hour on the track.

For John it was 21.38 miles set in 2009 when he was eighty. At 84 he covered 20.43 miles, while it was just under 19 miles for his most recent in September.
